I am a Project Manager at a civil engineering firm in Dallas, Texas with approximately 5 years in the design field of land development. I am pursuing a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) at the University of Texas at Arlington with an expected graduation date of December 2011. I also hold a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and a MBA from the University of Texas Arlington. In October 2009, I took and passed my Professional Engineering exam and am now a licensed professional engineer in the State of Texas. Throughout my career, I have designed retail, industrial, office, multifamily and medical facility projects. Associated with these projects I established project schedules and budgets, coordinated accounts receivable and payable, gained knowledge of various municipality’s procedures and extensive knowledge of survey items such as plats, easements, and legal descriptions, all in addition to my broad knowledge of land development engineering.

I am currently seeking a position as a financial analyst. I would like to gain experience of real estate finance, including financial analysis, appraisal, and financial loan structures.  I have a firm understanding of the design and construction. However, in order to be successful in the real estate industry, I know that I need to be well versed from a financial perspective.

  • Designed 37 civil engineering projects including retail, industrial, multifamily, office and healthcare, ranging in construction cost from $350K to $350MM.

  • Coordination with in-house surveyors for property platting, easement documents, legal descriptions and topographic survey associated with my projects.
